Using TinyMCE Classic Editor
The TinyMCE Classic Editor provides a familiar Word-like experience for creating blog posts. If your members are comfortable with traditional word processors, this editor will feel natural.

Enabling Classic Editor
Go to Member Blog → Settings → Editor Select Classic Editor (TinyMCE) Click Save Changes
The Toolbar
The Classic Editor displays a fixed toolbar at the top with all formatting options visible.

How to Create a Post
Step 1: Enter Your Title
Type your post title in the title field at the top of the form.
Step 2: Write Your Content
Click in the main editor area and start typing. Use the toolbar buttons to format as you write.
Step 3: Add Images (Optional)
Click where you want the image Click the media icon in the toolbar Upload or select an image Choose size and alignment Click Insert
Step 4: Add Links
Select the text you want to link Click the link icon Paste or type the URL Press Enter or click Apply
Tips for Better Posts
Use headings - Break up long posts with H2 and H3 headings Keep paragraphs short - 2-4 sentences is ideal for readability Use lists - Bullet points make information scannable Add images - Visual content increases engagement Check your links - Click links before publishing to verify they work
Visual vs Text Mode
The Classic Editor has two tabs:
Visual: See formatted content as you type (WYSIWYG) Text: See raw HTML code (for advanced users)
Most members should stay in Visual mode.
Troubleshooting
Toolbar not showing:
Check if JavaScript is enabled Clear browser cache Disable ad blockers that might interfere
Formatting not applying:
Select text first, then click formatting button Make sure you’re in Visual mode, not Text mode
