Overview

Woo Sell Services transforms your WooCommerce store into a service marketplace similar to Fiverr or Freelancer. Vendors list service products, customers purchase and submit requirements, and both parties communicate through a built-in conversation system until the service is delivered and approved.

  • Service Product Type — adds a “Service” checkbox to WooCommerce products with 7 custom requirement field types
  • Requirement Gathering — customers fill out structured forms (textbox, textarea, WYSIWYG editor, file upload, dropdown, multi-select, radio button) before work begins
  • Order Conversations — real-time messaging between vendor and customer with file attachments
  • Delivery Workflow — vendors submit final deliveries, customers accept or request changes
  • Review System — star ratings with optional sync to WooCommerce product reviews
  • Email Notifications — 6 customizable WooCommerce email templates for every workflow step
  • Live Notifications — in-app notification system with AJAX-powered real-time updates
  • Webhooks — send order events to external services (requirement submitted, delivery accepted, etc.)
  • Multi-Vendor Support — integrates with Dokan, WCFM, and WC Vendors
  • Delivery Date Tracking — estimated delivery dates with vendor update capability
  • Requirement Export/Import — export requirement field configurations from one product and import to another
  • User Online Status — displays online/offline presence indicators for users (15-minute activity threshold)
  • WooCommerce HPOS — compatible with High-Performance Order Storage
  • WPML Compatible — translatable settings and notification templates via wpml-config.xml
  1. A vendor creates a WooCommerce product and checks the “Service” type
  2. The vendor adds requirement questions using 7 available field types
  3. A customer purchases the service through the standard WooCommerce checkout
  4. The customer is redirected to fill out the requirement form (single-service orders only)
  5. The vendor receives the requirements and begins work
  6. Both parties communicate through the order conversation page
  7. The vendor submits a final delivery with attachments
  8. The customer reviews and accepts the delivery, or rejects and the vendor revises
  9. Once accepted, both parties can leave star ratings and reviews

Service products have special WooCommerce behavior:

  • Sold individually — service products are forced to a quantity of 1 per cart item
  • Unique cart keys — each service gets a unique cart item key, allowing the same service to appear as separate line items
  • Vendor self-purchase prevention — vendors cannot purchase their own service products
  • Guest checkout warning — guests see a notice that service orders require an account
  • Freelance marketplaces — design, writing, development, consulting services
  • Agency sites — sell packaged services with structured intake forms
  • Multi-vendor platforms — combine with Dokan, WCFM, or WC Vendors for a full marketplace
  • Single-vendor stores — sell your own services with a professional workflow
  • WordPress 3.0.1 or higher
  • WooCommerce (required, plugin will not activate without it)
  • PHP 7.4 or higher recommended
