Installation

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
  3. Search for “BuddyPress Schedule Activity”.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

If you received the plugin as a .zip file:

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Choose the .zip file and click Install Now.
  3. Click Activate Plugin.
  1. Unzip the plugin file on your computer.
  2. Upload the buddypress-schedule-activity folder to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
  3. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  4. Find “BuddyPress Schedule Activity” and click Activate.

There are no settings to configure. The scheduling feature becomes available on the activity posting form immediately after activation, for all logged-in members who can post activities.

You will see:

  • A clock icon appears in the activity post form toolbar.
  • A “Scheduled Posts” tab appears on each member’s profile (visible only to the member themselves).

The plugin adds a WB Plugins entry to your WordPress admin sidebar. This menu contains:

  • Settings - General Wbcom admin panel.
  • Themes & Extensions - Browse other Wbcom plugins and themes.
  • Help & Support - Links to documentation and support.
  • License - Enter your license key for automatic updates.

Tip: If you purchased the plugin from Wbcom Designs, enter your license key under WB Plugins > License to receive automatic updates.

To confirm the plugin is working:

  1. Log in as a regular member (not an admin).
  2. Go to the Activity page or your profile.
  3. Look for the clock icon in the “What’s new?” posting area.
  4. Click it - a dropdown should appear with “Schedule Activity” and “View Scheduled Activities” options.

If the clock icon does not appear, check that BuddyPress activity posting is enabled and that you are viewing the page as a logged-in user.
