Installation

Before you install

Make sure BuddyPress is already installed and active with its Activity component turned on. BuddyPress Edit Activity will deactivate itself and show an admin notice if BuddyPress is missing.

From your WordPress dashboard

Go to Plugins > Add New.
Search for BuddyPress Edit Activity.
Click Install Now, then Activate.
WordPress redirects you to the plugin’s settings page automatically.

Manual installation (zip file)

If you downloaded the plugin as a zip:

Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
Click Activate Plugin.
WordPress redirects you to WB Plugins > Edit Activity.

After activation

Once active, the plugin adds an Edit Activity submenu under WB Plugins in the WordPress admin sidebar. Head there to configure the edit window before members start using the feature — by default, editing is off until you turn it on.
