See How Your Space Is Doing
If you run a space, you can see whether it is growing at a glance — without being a site administrator. A Last 30 days row on your space’s admin page shows the numbers that matter, and nothing else to wade through.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”Open your space, then Admin. Below the “at a glance” row (members, pending requests, open reports) you’ll find Last 30 days with four tiles:
- New members — how many people joined in the last 30 days.
- Left — how many left in the same window.
- Net growth — the difference, shown with a
+or-so you can tell direction at a glance. - Posts — how many posts were made in the space.
If nothing has happened in the last 30 days, you’ll see a short “No activity in the last 30 days” line instead of four zeros.
Who can see it
Section titled “Who can see it”Only the people who can already open the space’s admin page — the space owner, its moderators, and site administrators. Members never see it.
Turning it on (site owner)
Section titled “Turning it on (site owner)”This is off by default, so a site administrator decides whether space owners get their own numbers. It lives under BuddyNext > Engagement > Insights, at the top of the Analytics section: Show space owners their stats. Turn it on and every space’s admin page gains the Last 30 days row; leave it off and analytics stay with site administrators only.
It is part of the Analytics feature, so if Analytics is switched off there are no numbers to show and the row does not appear.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The figures are cached briefly, so they refresh within a few minutes rather than instantly — fine for a “how are we doing” read, and easy on a large site.
- There are no charts or date-range controls here on purpose: it is a quick health check, not a full analytics screen. Site administrators get the full dashboard (trends, cohorts, funnels) under Engagement > Insights.
