Group Enrollment Codes

Enrollment codes let students join a group on their own — no manual approval needed. Each code can only be used once. When a student redeems a code, they are added to the group and gain access to all courses in it.

Requirements

• The Uncanny Groups for LearnDash add-on must be installed and active.
• The group must be set up to use enrollment codes.
• You must be an administrator or a Group Leader assigned to the group.

If Uncanny Groups is not active, the enrollment codes option will not appear.

How to Open Enrollment Codes

From the group listing, click Manage Codes on a group card. This button only appears for groups that use enrollment codes.

Codes Summary

At the top of the codes screen, three numbers show you the current status at a glance:

Card	What it shows
Total Codes	All codes ever generated for this group
Available	Codes that have not been used yet
Redeemed	Codes that students have already used

Generating New Codes

1. Click Generate Codes.
2. Enter the number of codes you want to create (between 1 and 500).
3. Click Generate.

The list updates automatically and the summary counts refresh.

Understanding the Codes List

The codes list shows all codes for this group with the following information:

Column	Description
Code	The enrollment code string to share with students
Status	Available or Redeemed
Redeemed By	The name of the student who used the code
Date	Creation date for available codes; redemption date for redeemed codes

Exporting Codes

Click Export CSV to download all codes for this group as a spreadsheet. The file includes each code, its status, who redeemed it, and the relevant date.

Sharing Codes with Students

Copy individual codes and send them to your students by email or any other method you prefer. Students enter a code on the enrollment code redemption page on your site to join the group.

Ask your site administrator for the link to the redemption page if you are not sure where it is.
