Requirements
Before installing BuddyPress Status, confirm that your site meets these requirements.
Software versions

The plugin is tested up to WordPress 6.9.
BuddyPress components
Section titled “BuddyPress components”BuddyPress Status integrates with the Activity component. If that component is disabled in BuddyPress settings, statuses will still be saved and displayed on profiles, but they will not appear in the site-wide activity stream.
BuddyBoss compatibility
Section titled “BuddyBoss compatibility”The plugin includes specific compatibility code for the BuddyBoss Platform. If you run BuddyBoss instead of BuddyPress, install and activate it the same way — no extra configuration is needed.
Hosting
Section titled “Hosting”No special server configuration is required. The plugin relies on standard WordPress AJAX endpoints.
Browser support
Section titled “Browser support”The emoji picker and status form work in any modern browser. Very old browsers (Internet Explorer 11 and below) are not supported.
