Forums Integration Settings
Section titled “Forums Integration Settings”The Forums tab appears in the admin menu when bbPress is active on your site. It controls whether reactions appear on forum topics and forum replies. Find it at Wbcom Designs > BP Reactions > Forums.
If bbPress is not installed or not active, this tab is hidden.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Enable reactions on topics
Section titled “Enable reactions on topics”Toggles reactions on or off for bbPress forum topic posts.
- On — a React button appears on each forum topic for logged-in members.
- Off — no reaction button on topics.
Enable reactions on replies
Section titled “Enable reactions on replies”Toggles reactions on or off for replies within a forum topic.
- On — a React button appears on each forum reply.
- Off — no reaction button on replies.
Both settings are independent of each other and independent of the BuddyPress activity settings.
Choosing emojis for forum content
Section titled “Choosing emojis for forum content”The emojis shown for topics and replies are configured separately from activity emojis. Go to My Reactions and scroll to the Forum Topics and Forum Replies sections. The default selection for forums uses a smaller set suited to discussion threads.

BuddyBoss Platform
Section titled “BuddyBoss Platform”If you are using BuddyBoss Platform instead of standard bbPress, the plugin supports forum topic and reply reactions through the BuddyBoss integration. The same Forums tab controls both standard bbPress and BuddyBoss forum content.
Saving settings
Section titled “Saving settings”Click Save Settings at the bottom of the form.
