Pro Features
Pro. Everything in this section requires WB Member Blog Pro. The free plugin must be installed and active first; Pro adds its settings as extra tabs inside the same Member Blog screen.
Pro topics are documented in their own folders alongside the free docs - this page is the index.
WB Member Blog Pro extends the free plugin. It does not replace it: the free plugin must be installed and active, and Pro adds its settings as extra tabs inside the same Member Blog admin screen.
Everything in Pro is a module, and every module can be switched off. See Modules first.
The Modules
Section titled “The Modules”| Module | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Restrictions | Limit how many posts a member can publish per hour, day, week, month or year | On |
| Custom Fields | Add extra fields to the post form | On |
| Notifications | Email and BuddyPress notifications for post events, with editable templates | On |
| Analytics | Post views, traffic sources, and a member-facing dashboard | On |
| Author Dashboard | A front-end dashboard where members see their limits, notification preferences, scheduled posts, analytics and co-authoring | On |
| Co-Authors | Multiple members on one post, with invitations and an optional editorial review workflow | Off |
| Group Blogs | Link posts to BuddyPress or BuddyBoss groups | Off |
| Post Credits | Charge credits to publish, with WooCommerce, PMPro, MemberPress and WooCommerce Memberships integrations | Off |
| Scheduling | Members schedule posts for future publication | Off |
| Series | Group related posts into a series with navigation and progress | Off |
Modules that default to off are the ones that need a decision from you: they either depend on another plugin, or they change how members work in a way that should be a deliberate choice.
