Setting Up Notifications

Pro. This feature requires WB Member Blog Pro. The free plugin must be installed and active first. See the Pro index for every Pro module.

Email and on-site notifications keep members and admins informed about posts submitted for review, approvals, co-author invitations, and more.

Requirements

BuddyPress or BuddyBoss Platform (for on-site notifications) Notifications component active Working WordPress email configuration

Configuring Admin Notifications

Go to Member Blog → Notifications Enable Notify Admins on New Posts Select which admins should receive notifications in Admin Recipients Save changes

Configuring Member Notifications

Go to Member Blog → Notifications Enable Notify Members on Approval Members will receive email and on-site notifications when posts are approved

Email Templates

Customize email content for each notification type using these placeholders:

On-Site Notifications

Members see notifications in their BuddyPress notification area:

Member Notification Preferences

Members can control their notification settings:
