Display toggles
Section titled “Display toggles”Enable status display on user profiles
Section titled “Enable status display on user profiles”When on, the current status (text and emoji) appears on each member’s BuddyPress profile page. The status input form also appears here so members can add or change their status.

Enable status display in members directory
Section titled “Enable status display in members directory”When on, the member’s current status text appears in the BuddyPress members directory listing, truncated to 30 characters.
Option key: bpsts_gnrl_settings[directory_dis_status]
Enable feelings and activities in status updates
Section titled “Enable feelings and activities in status updates”When on, the feeling/activity picker appears in the status form. Members can attach an activity tag (Celebrating, Watching, etc.) to their status update.
Option key: bpsts_gnrl_settings[feeling_activity]
User role permissions
Section titled “User role permissions”A checkbox grid lists every user role on the site except Administrator. Check each role that should be able to post status updates. Administrators always have access regardless of this setting.
Option key: bpsts_gnrl_settings[user_role] — stored as an array of role slugs.
Use Select All or Deselect All to quickly adjust all roles at once. Each role label shows the current user count for that role.
Saving settings
Section titled “Saving settings”Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form to apply your selections.
