Finding the Plugin Settings (WB Plugins Hub)

Section titled “Finding the Plugin Settings (WB Plugins Hub)”

BuddyPress Profile Pro adds its settings page under a shared top-level menu called WB Plugins, not directly under the BuddyPress menu.

  1. In the WordPress dashboard left sidebar, scroll down until you see WB Plugins (it has a lightbulb icon).
  2. Hover over WB Plugins and click Profile Pro in the submenu.

The URL is wp-admin/admin.php?page=buddypress_profile_pro.

The settings page has a sidebar navigation on the left with these items:

Item What it does
Overview Dashboard showing a summary of your current groups, fields, and configuration status.
General Controls the profile tab name, field visibility, field descriptions, and Google Places API settings.
Group Settings Create, edit, and delete field groups.
Field Settings Create, edit, and reorder individual fields within groups.
Profile Search Configure the member-directory search form.
Support Frequently asked questions.
License Enter and activate your license key.

The menu appears only to users with the manage_options capability (administrators). If you are logged in as an administrator and still do not see it, make sure the plugin is active on the Plugins > Installed Plugins page.

On multisite networks where the plugin is network-activated, the menu appears in the network admin dashboard for super admins. Individual site admins can access it from their own dashboard if the plugin is also active at the site level.

If another Wbcom plugin is also active, they share the same WB Plugins parent menu. Each plugin adds its own submenu item. Only the hub landing page is shared — the rest of each plugin’s settings are fully separate.
