Overview

Reign WC Vendors Addon connects the WC Vendors marketplace plugin to the Reign theme. It replaces the default WC Vendors store header with a themed, multi-layout header, adds a product favorites system, surfaces vendor information through widgets, and posts vendor activity to a connected community platform (BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, or PeepSo).

The plugin is a bridge between two products you already run. It does not add its own vendor registration, payouts, or product management. Those remain in WC Vendors. What it adds is presentation and community integration on top of that data.

What the addon does

  • Themed store header on single vendor pages, with four selectable layouts, showing the store banner, icon, name, rating, description, website, phone, address, social links, and total sales.
  • Optional product-page header that shows the same vendor header at the top of a single product page.
  • Favorite products: a heart toggle next to product prices that logged-in customers use to save products, with a favorites tab on their community profile.
  • Community activity: automatic activity posts when a vendor publishes a product, receives a review, or receives an order.
  • Widgets and a store sidebar for showing vendor profile details, a vendor list, and a shop-owner card.

How it fits together

The addon boots only when the WC Vendors plugin is active, and it only stays active while the Reign theme is the active theme. On activation it turns off the WC Vendors built-in headers so its own header is the single source of truth. Vendor social, ratings, verified and trusted badges, opening hours, and store banners depend on WC Vendors Pro. Activity and profile tabs depend on a community platform being active.

Where settings live

Settings are split across two screens:

  • Appearance > Customize > Reign WC Vendors controls the store header layout and which header elements appear.
  • The Reign theme options screen, WC Vendors tab controls favorites, the community store tab, and activity posting.
