Installation

Install the addon after the Reign theme and WC Vendors are already active. The addon checks for both and will deactivate itself if either is missing.

Before you start

1. Activate the Reign theme.
2. Install and activate WooCommerce.
3. Install and activate WC Vendors (and WC Vendors Pro if you use it).

Install the plugin

From the WordPress admin

1. Go to Plugins > Add New and click Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the plugin zip file and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate.

By FTP

1. Unzip the plugin package.
2. Upload the reign-wc-vendor-addon folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
3. Go to Plugins and activate Reign WC Vendors Addon.

What activation does

On activation the addon:

• Turns off the WC Vendors built-in store headers (wcvendors_display_shop_headers and wcvendors_store_single_headers are set to no) so its own header renders instead.
• Seeds default settings when a community platform (BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, or PeepSo) is active: favorites on, community store tab on, product activity on, and review activity on. These defaults are written only if no WC Vendors settings exist yet, so an existing configuration is never overwritten.

Activate your license

If you have a license key, enter it on the Reign theme options license panel. The addon registers its license panel into the theme’s premium-addon license area. A valid license enables automatic updates.
