Requirements
Confirm each of these before installing. The addon enforces the theme and GeoDirectory requirements automatically by deactivating itself if they are not met.

Both the WordPress and PHP floors are declared in the plugin header, so a site below either version is refused the update rather than being allowed to break on it. Check the PHP version on older sites before updating.
Required
Section titled “Required”- Reign theme (active). The addon works only with the Reign theme. On every admin request it checks the active theme template, and if it is not
reign-themethe addon deactivates itself and shows an admin notice. The settings UI is rendered inside the Reign theme options page. - GeoDirectory plugin (active). Checked on load. If GeoDirectory is not active the addon deactivates itself and shows a notice that it requires GeoDirectory.
Optional community platform (one of)
Section titled “Optional community platform (one of)”The profile tab, activities, and notifications only appear when a supported community platform is active. Install one of:
- BuddyPress (version 2.8 or later). Enables the profile Places tab, activity stream entries, and notifications.
- PeepSo. Enables the PeepSo profile Places tab, PeepSo stream activities, per-member activity preferences, and PeepSo notifications.
If neither BuddyPress nor PeepSo is active, the addon still loads and its GeoDirectory listing styles apply, but no profile tab, activity, or notification features are available.
Compatibility notes
Section titled “Compatibility notes”- GeoDirectory 2.0 or later is expected for the listing features.
- BuddyBoss Platform. When present, the addon removes BuddyBoss’s
bp_exclude_geodirectory_scriptsaction so GeoDirectory assets are not stripped from the profile tab. - Youzify. When Youzify is active, the addon adds a marker class to Youzify navbar items whose link contains “places” so the map-marker icon can be styled.
- Reign 8.0.0 and its token-based color system (light, dark, auto) are supported. The addon tells the theme to load its GeoDirectory styles on the profile screens where the Places tab renders.
