Customize a Single Course or Group

Beyond the site-wide settings, each course and group has its own options on its edit screen.

On a course edit screen you will find a Course Features meta box (and a Group Features meta box on a group edit screen). Use it to display a short, icon-led list of highlights on the single page.

  1. Enable the features box.
  2. Add a row for each feature.
  3. For each row, pick an icon and type the feature text.
  4. Update the course or group.

Empty rows are dropped on save, so you can leave spare rows blank.

Each course and group can have its own cover image that overrides the site-wide default. Set it on the edit screen. The single page then chooses, in order: this item’s cover image, the default cover image from settings, then the plugin placeholder.

Current versions use a single unified single-page layout (an Udemy-style layout) for courses and groups, so there is no per-item template picker to set. Site-wide archive layout is chosen in the settings (see Configure the settings); the look of grid cards is chosen per shortcode with the template attribute for courses (see Modern Courses shortcode).
