Set Up the Profile Tab

Add a “My Courses” tab to member profiles so each learner and each visitor can see a member’s enrolled courses.

Before you start

A community platform must be active for the tab to have somewhere to appear: BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, or PeepSo. Course shortcodes do not need any of these, but the profile tab does.

Enable the tab

1. Open the Reign options page and go to the TutorLMS tab. The quickest route is the Settings link on the plugin row, which opens admin.php?page=reign-options&tab=tutorlms.
2. Open the Profile Integration sub-tab.
3. Check Enable My Courses Tab.
4. Click Update Settings.

The Profile Integration screen also lists which community platforms it has detected, so you can confirm the tab will appear before saving.

Verify on a profile

1. Visit a member profile on your community platform.
2. Look for the My Courses tab.
3. Open it to see that member’s enrolled courses with progress bars.

The tab always shows the profile owner’s courses, not the visitor’s, because the user is detected from the profile being viewed. See Enrolled courses.

If the tab does not appear

• Confirm the setting is checked and saved.
• Confirm a supported community platform is active.
• Clear any navigation or page cache and, if needed, log out and back in. Some platforms cache the profile navigation.
