Overview

Reign LearnDash Addon is a premium WordPress plugin that connects the Reign theme with the LearnDash LMS. It restyles LearnDash pages to match Reign and adds display, reading, review, and community features on top of your existing courses and groups.

The addon does not replace LearnDash. It layers on top of it: your courses, lessons, topics, quizzes, and groups stay exactly where they are, and the addon changes how they look and adds new ways to present and interact with them.

  • Modern course and group grids you place with a shortcode or block, with live search, filtering, sorting, and load-more or numbered pagination.
  • Redesigned single course and group pages using LearnDash 30 (LD30) template overrides, including a tabbed course layout (Content, Instructor, Comments) and a custom “features” list per course or group.
  • A focused reading experience through Distraction Free Reading (an enhanced focus mode) and a Dark Mode toggle.
  • A course and group review system with star ratings stored as native WordPress comments, an optional “only enrolled users can review” rule, and a migration tool to bring older reviews across.
  • Related courses on single course pages.
  • Course archive controls: choose one of three archive layouts and turn category, tag, and instructor filters on or off.
  • Three LearnDash widgets for course listing, course categories, and course search.
  • BuddyPress integration (when BuddyPress is active): activity logging for enrollments and completions, a Courses tab on member profiles, and course-to-group synchronization.
  • Commerce buy buttons that hand off to WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, or Paid Memberships Pro for paid courses.

The addon is a theme companion, so its options live inside the Reign theme settings under a dedicated LearnDash tab rather than in a standalone menu. It stores nothing in custom database tables: settings live in the theme’s options, and per-course or per-group choices live in standard post, group, and user meta. Reviews are stored as WordPress comments with rating meta.
