Troubleshooting

The addon deactivates when a requirement is missing. Check that:

  • The Reign theme is the active theme.
  • Dokan Lite is active.
  • WooCommerce is active.

An admin notice names the missing piece. Activate it, then reactivate the addon.

The whole front end broke after deactivating Dokan or WooCommerce

Section titled “The whole front end broke after deactivating Dokan or WooCommerce”

Earlier versions could show a white screen to visitors if Dokan or WooCommerce was deactivated while the addon stayed active. Version 3.8.0 fixes this: the addon now stops loading its Dokan-dependent layer when either plugin is inactive, so the site keeps serving pages. If you are on an older version, update to 3.8.0 or later.

Check each of these:

  • Allow Marking Products as Favorites is enabled on the Dokan settings tab.
  • BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active (the setting is disabled without it).
  • The visitor is logged in. The icon does not show for logged-out visitors.
  • BuddyVendor is not active. When it is, the addon’s favorite feature is skipped.

The Store or Favorite profile tab is missing

Section titled “The Store or Favorite profile tab is missing”
  • Confirm BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active.
  • Confirm the matching toggle is on: Display Store Tab, or Allow Marking Products as Favorites.
  • The Store tab shows only for members who are Dokan vendors. The Favorite tab shows only on the visitor’s own profile.
  • Confirm BuddyVendor is not active.
  • Confirm the matching toggle is on (Create Product Activity, Add Review Activity, or Order Activity) and that BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active.
  • Order activity is off by default; enable it explicitly.
  • Review activity is not recorded for guest reviews, because there is no member to attribute.
  • Order activity skips orders whose products are all catalog-hidden.

Saving the Dokan settings tab requires the manage_options capability. Confirm you are an administrator. The save also runs a nonce check, so submit the form directly rather than replaying a cached request.

The addon loads its own /languages files on init. If a string is not translated, the bundled file may be missing that string or may be a machine-translated first pass. Refine it per site with a tool such as Loco Translate.

The store header appears twice with Elementor

Section titled “The store header appears twice with Elementor”

When an Elementor store or single template is in use, the addon hides its own store header block so the two do not stack. If you still see a duplicate, confirm the addon’s front-end script is loading and that browser caching is cleared.

The vendor dashboard styling conflicts with RTMedia

Section titled “The vendor dashboard styling conflicts with RTMedia”

On pages with the Dokan dashboard, the addon removes RTMedia’s scripts and styles to prevent a conflict. If the dashboard still looks wrong, confirm the page uses the Dokan dashboard shortcode so the addon can detect it.

Enter and activate your license key on the Reign theme’s License Manager tab. Without an activated license, the update check does not run.
