Overview

Reign WCFM Addon connects the WCFM Marketplace plugin to the Reign theme. It adds vendor and shopper features that WCFM alone does not style for Reign, and wires marketplace events into the BuddyPress activity feed.

What the addon does

  • Two single-store layouts. Keep WCFM’s default store page (Layout 1) or switch every vendor store to the addon’s own Reign-styled template (Layout 2).
  • Product favourites. Logged-in shoppers can mark products with a heart icon on the shop and single-product pages. Each shopper gets a “Favourite” tab on their BuddyPress profile listing everything they saved.
  • Vendor store tab on profiles. Vendors get a “Store” tab on their BuddyPress profile that lists their products and links to their full WCFM store.
  • Marketplace activity. When BuddyPress is active, the addon can post to the activity feed when a vendor publishes a product, when a product review is approved, and when an order is placed.
  • Third-party compatibility. Ships specific fixes for BuddyBoss (avoids double-posting product activity), Youzify (renders purchase activity), and YITH Auctions (loads the countdown on marketplace tabs).

How it fits together

The addon is a theme extension, not a standalone plugin. It requires the Reign theme, WCFM Marketplace, and WooCommerce to all be active. Its settings live inside the Reign theme’s own options page (under a “WCFM Marketplace” tab), not in a separate menu.

Because it depends on those three products, the addon deactivates itself automatically if any of them is missing. See Requirements for the exact checks.
