Installation

Install the Reign theme and Tutor LMS first, then add this addon.

Step 1: Confirm prerequisites

1. Activate the Reign theme. The plugin only stays active when the active theme is reign-theme.
2. Install and activate Tutor LMS (tutor/tutor.php).

See Requirements for versions.

Step 2: Install the addon

From a ZIP file

1. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the reign-tutorlms-addon ZIP file and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate.

Manual upload

1. Upload the reign-tutorlms-addon folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Go to Plugins in the WordPress admin.
3. Activate Reign TutorLMS Addon.

Step 3: Activate the license (optional, for updates)

The addon uses an Easy Digital Downloads license for automatic updates. Enter your license key in the Reign theme options license panel. See Settings storage for where the key is stored.

Step 4: Open the settings tab

Go to the Reign options page and open the TutorLMS tab. The fastest route is the Settings link on the plugin’s row on the Plugins page, which opens admin.php?page=reign-options&tab=tutorlms.

The tab has two sub-tabs:

• Shortcodes - a reference for the two shortcodes the plugin adds.
• Profile Integration - the toggle for the “My Courses” profile tab.

If the plugin deactivates itself

If you see a notice that the plugin requires the Reign theme or Tutor LMS, the addon has deactivated because one dependency is missing or inactive. Activate the Reign theme and Tutor LMS, then activate the addon again.
