Does this plugin work without the Reign theme?
Section titled “Does this plugin work without the Reign theme?”No. The addon requires the Reign theme to be the active theme. If a different theme is active, the addon deactivates itself and shows an admin notice.
What else does it need?
Section titled “What else does it need?”Dokan Lite and WooCommerce must both be active. If either is missing, the addon deactivates itself in the admin, and on the front end it stops loading its Dokan-dependent code so the site keeps serving pages.
Do I need Dokan Pro?
Section titled “Do I need Dokan Pro?”No. The addon works with Dokan Lite. Dokan Pro is supported when present, and the addon styles its features.
Why can I not see the Store tab, Favorite tab, or activity?
Section titled “Why can I not see the Store tab, Favorite tab, or activity?”Those features require BuddyPress or BuddyBoss to be active. Without it, the related settings on the Dokan tab are disabled. They are also skipped entirely when the BuddyVendor plugin is active.
Why are the Dokan settings disabled with a BuddyVendor notice?
Section titled “Why are the Dokan settings disabled with a BuddyVendor notice?”When BuddyVendor is active, it manages favorite products, the profile store tab, and product, review, and order activity. The addon steps back from those features to avoid duplicates, and disables the matching toggles.
Why does “Display Store Tab” show the tab when I check it?
Section titled “Why does “Display Store Tab” show the tab when I check it?”The checkbox is stored under a key named hide_store_tab, but the tab shows when the box is checked. The behavior is display-on-check; the underlying key name does not match its effect.
Why is order activity not appearing?
Section titled “Why is order activity not appearing?”Order activity is off by default. Enable Order Activity on the Dokan settings tab. It also requires BuddyPress or BuddyBoss and, by design, skips orders that contain only catalog-hidden products.
Where are the layout options?
Section titled “Where are the layout options?”Store and product page layouts are in the Customizer under Reign Dokan. The feature toggles are on the Dokan tab of the Reign theme options page.
Are translations included?
Section titled “Are translations included?”Yes. The addon bundles machine-translated first-pass files for Arabic, German, German (formal), Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch. These are a starting point and should be refined per site with a tool such as Loco Translate.
Does the plugin add REST endpoints, database tables, or cron jobs?
Section titled “Does the plugin add REST endpoints, database tables, or cron jobs?”No. The addon has no REST endpoints, no custom tables, no cron jobs, no custom post types, and no blocks. It uses one Ajax action for the favorite toggle.
How do I get updates?
Section titled “How do I get updates?”Enter and activate your license key on the Reign theme’s License Manager tab. The addon includes an Easy Digital Downloads license updater that then checks for updates.
