Requirements

Reign LearnDash Addon is a companion plugin. It needs both the Reign theme and LearnDash present and active, and it will deactivate itself if either one is missing.

Required

• Reign theme (or a Reign child theme) installed and active. The addon extends Reign’s styling, breadcrumbs, page headers, and customizer post-type support.
• LearnDash LMS installed and active. The addon builds on LearnDash’s sfwd-courses, sfwd-lessons, sfwd-topic, sfwd-quiz, and groups content.
• WordPress 6.5 or newer.
• PHP 8.0 or newer.

The plugin is tested up to WordPress 7.0.

If Reign or LearnDash is not active when you activate the addon, the addon stops itself and records an activation error rather than running in a broken state.

Optional integrations

These are detected automatically and only add features when the matching plugin is active:

• BuddyPress - activity logging, a Courses profile tab, and course-to-group synchronization.
• WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, or Paid Memberships Pro - buy buttons that add a linked product to the cart or send the buyer to checkout.
• LearnDash Course Grid - grid template compatibility.
• LD Dashboard and the LearnDash instructor role (wdm_instructor_role) - instructor-related display.

None of the optional integrations are required for the core display, reading, or review features.
